Seeds In A Cup®

Cleveland, Ohio

A cup, some soil, and a reason to start.

Seeds In A Cup® began with a simple frustration: starting seeds meant buying four things from three aisles, and most of it went in the bin.

So we put it all in one cup. Seeds picked by hand, real loose potting soil rather than a compressed disc, a planter you can recycle, and a guide written by someone who actually grows the plants.

Every kit is assembled here in Cleveland and made in the USA. Kevin Bruce, who founded the company, still writes the growing guides and answers the email.

How we build them

What we will not cut.

Seed

Standard

Non-GMO, picked by hand

We choose seed by hand for each kit rather than filling from a generic hopper.

Soil

Standard

Loose, not compressed

Real potting soil. A dried disc is cheaper to ship and worse to grow in.

Guide

Standard

Written by a grower

Instructions come from growing the plant, not from a supplier’s spec sheet.
