Meet Buddy Stratify
Buddy Stratify is the Seeds In A Cup® brand mascot: the leaf-costumed character who greets you on our plant guides and answers growing questions in the Ask Buddy chat.
What Buddy does
- Plant guides in our library carry the byline “Buddy Stratify”. The byline is the brand’s voice for content published by Seeds In A Cup®.
- The Ask Buddy chat on each plant page uses an AI language model running on Cloudflare. It answers from that plant’s guide and the references we have checked, and it shows the sources it drew on.
- Buddy will not quote prices, stock or order details, give medical advice, or claim results it cannot support. When the notes don’t cover a question, Buddy says so.
What Buddy is not
Buddy is a character, not a person. Buddy is not a horticulturist, botanist or veterinarian, and a Buddy byline does not mean a qualified expert has reviewed the page. AI answers can be wrong. Check the seed packet supplied with your kit and local growing advice before acting on them.
