How to grow it
SCARIFICATION & STRATIFICATION: Open your Seeds In A Cup kit. Lightly sand each seed with fine sandpaper to nick the hard seed coat. Soak scarified seeds in warm water for 24 hours. Place in the provided moistened growing medium inside a sealed bag. Refrigerate at 33-41°F (1-5°C) for 90-120 days.
PLANTING: After stratification, fill your Seeds In A Cup container with the provided growing medium. Scatter seeds on the surface and press gently, then cover with ⅛ inch of medium. Mist lightly. Place in a warm location (70-75°F) with bright light or under a grow light for 14-16 hours/day. Germination occurs in 21-60 days.
SEEDLING CARE: When seedlings develop 3-4 true leaves, transplant to individual pots. Move outdoors in USDA Zones 5-9 after last frost. Provide full sun and a trellis or support. Water regularly — 1-2 inches per week during fruiting. Expect first fruit in the second growing season.
