How to grow it
SEED PREPARATION: Open your Seeds In A Cup kit. Nick each seed coat lightly with a nail file or sandpaper. Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours. This softens the hard coat and triggers germination.
PLANTING: Fill your Seeds In A Cup container with the provided growing medium. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep. Water thoroughly. Place in a warm location (75-85°F) or under a grow light for 14-16 hours/day. Cover with humidity dome. Germination occurs in 7-30 days.
SEEDLING CARE: Hibiscus seedlings love heat and light. Remove dome once sprouts appear. When seedlings have 3-4 sets of true leaves, transplant to a larger pot. Provide full sun and consistent moisture. Feed monthly with balanced fertilizer. In Zones 9-11, plant outdoors. In cooler zones, enjoy as a flowering houseplant. Bring indoors before first frost.
