How to grow it
SCARIFICATION & STRATIFICATION: Open your Seeds In A Cup kit. Nick each seed coat with a file, or soak seeds in near-boiling water for 1 minute, then immediately transfer to cool water. Place treated seeds in the provided moistened growing medium in a sealed bag. Refrigerate at 33-41°F (1-5°C) for 60-90 days.
PLANTING: After stratification, fill your Seeds In A Cup container with the provided growing medium. Plant seeds ½ inch deep. Water gently. Place in a warm, bright location (65-75°F) or under a grow light for 14-16 hours/day. Germination occurs in 14-30 days.
SEEDLING CARE: Judas Tree seedlings grow at a moderate pace. When seedlings reach 4-6 inches, transplant to a larger pot. Move outdoors in USDA Zones 6-9 in spring. Full sun to partial shade. This tree is drought tolerant once established and requires minimal pruning.
