How to grow it
STRATIFICATION: Open your Seeds In A Cup kit. Place mulberry seeds in the provided moistened growing medium in a sealed bag. Refrigerate at 33-41°F (1-5°C) for 30-60 days.
PLANTING: After stratification, fill your Seeds In A Cup container with the provided growing medium. Press seeds gently onto the surface — cover very lightly. Mist thoroughly. Place in a warm, bright location (70-75°F) or under a grow light for 14-16 hours/day. Germination occurs in 14-28 days.
SEEDLING CARE: Mulberry seedlings grow fast — 2-4 feet per year is typical. Full sun and well-draining soil. Transplant to a larger pot when 6 inches tall, then outdoors in USDA Zones 4-8 in spring. Mulberries are very low-maintenance trees. Can fruit in as little as 2-3 years from seed!
